Chris' family home has recently seeing the formal living areas transformed to accommodate his large trophy collection over the years and Karate training equipment.
After an eight year Martial Arts journey on Sunday May the 2nd 2010 Chris graded to his Black Belt in Go Kan Ryu Karate a traditional Japanese style, founded by Kancho Robert Sullivan in 1984
Chris returns to the winner’s podium after a short hiatus, taking home 1st in Forms, 1st in Point sparring, 1st in Traditional weapons and 3rd in Continuous sparring.
Chris won four medals at the World Martial Arts Games in Liverpool. He picked up three silver medals in the 12-13 years kata, sparring and team sparring and a bronze in the weapons.
Chris’ recent 1st Kyu grading has seeing the youngster a step away from obtaining his Shodan-ho Black Belt. Go-Kan-Ryu Karate is a traditional Japanese style of karate.
